Amelia Island Ramblings

How about a GTV, a 4C or an Autodelta Montreal!

Where can you find rare and exotic Alfas just parked here and there?  Try Fernandina Beach on the Friday before the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance at Amelia Island.  Here's a sample of some of the cars parked at the Women's Club for the Friday Reception and dinner for the Alfa Romeo Owners Club members who were attending the weekend festivities, including a Cars and Coffee gathering Saturday morning that featured 25 Alfa Romeos.  In fact two of the 9 TZ3's in existence were there on Saturday parked 'on the grass' where the Concours would be held on Sunday.  I was there with my NRING Quadrifoglio and it was a thrill to participate.

Here's some random shots of what I saw on Friday and Saturday.  I did not stay for the main show on Sunday, as I had to say "I'll pass" on working my way through traffic as I was driving my NRING Quadrifoglio and I didn't want to take a chance on anything happening to it. And I'd seen plenty of amazing cars already.

Here you go:

A TZ3- Most have never seen one!

Another TZ3!    OMG two parked only yards apart.

How about a V8, or make that a V10!

There were hundreds of other fine cars at Cars & Coffee- this has been a sample of the Alfa Romeos.
If you have not been you should try it next year. It is quite an experience.

So long for now- next up is the St. Pete Grand Prix that I'll be photographing this weekend.
