Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg Post #2

Here's a continuation of pictures from the races.  There were other races going on all weekend  including Indy Lights, Pro Mazda and the

USF2000 series.  Some of the pictures are from those races.

  Before that, I refer you to an excellent article in Sunday's Tampa Bay Times by Lane Degregory. It shows the human side of this sport and that it has a price to participate.  What would you say to your son or daughter if they said 'I want to be a race car driver.'?  The loss of Dan Wheldon was a shock to all of us and we can never know how hard it's been on his wife Susie. Lane's article gives us a glimpse into life after Dan.
